@hjejmnse1 it was not his natural hair, and he wanted to get rid of it. if you see videos of just before the filming of mindcrime at the moore, you will see its much shorter and by no way could it have grown so quickly... I read somewhere that he wanted to recreate the feeling of the O:M time and got those hairplugs or whatever they are called in order to look like he did back then... he kept it for 2 or 3 years and I think his actual hair grew also, but he also dyes his hair black, so I

Whoever just did that solo that was originally by Chris Degarmo did a great job, (couldn't see him) but in hearing the solo I would say he smoked it !!...Not taking away from Degarmo either, he is an amazing guitar player....why did Degarmo quit?
