Canon 70-200mm Big Battle (f/2.8, f/2.8 II & f/4)

The 70-200mm is one of the most popular lenses around, but Canon has a few options available. Of course, the f/2.8 IS II is the newest, but what about the older version and f/4 version - do they make good alternatives?

@DigitalRevCom Hey Kai, you mentioned in this review that all IS versions of these lenses are weather sealed. Then you point out that the f2.8 you were holding was a non-IS. This left me with the impression that the f2.8 non-IS is not weather sealed. However, according to Canon's website the f2.8 (non-IS) is indeed weather sealed. Thought maybe you should know as I was looking at your site and there's no mention of this at the specs info.

@thaininhdo you can take any landscapes picture with any lens. Clearly that person who said that 70-200mm f/2.8 can't take landscape needs to learn how to take photos from scratch again. A clue for you: COMPRESION

@looniaz This is so true. A company like Canon isnt going to release a really bad lens let alone an L series lens.

It's always funny to see people still asking which item is the best in every single comparison video they made. If you have the money, pick the most expensive one (price = quality). If not, just pick one that suits your budget, even try those 3rd party lens out there. Every lens has their own sweet spot that you can exploit. Only TROLLS who worries all the time about their gear instead of investing their time in learning how to make a good shot
