When I heard one of Julee's recordings, I decided to try their Camp Little Windows. Well, it was some of the best value I've ever received for my money. Both she and Mark are great musicians, singers and teachers. My interest being Sean Nos singing, most of my time was spent with Julee either instructing me or critiquing my vocal style. I'll always be an amatuer singer, but now I can do a traditional Irish or Appalachian song with real feeling.

I highly recommend you get it - even if you’re not a folk or Irish music fan - the CD has wide cross-over appeal - very fresh and accessible, timeless and rich. I don’t know if her other CD or her CD with Mark rise to that level, but I’m going to try them since the return on the first one was so great. I stumbled upon it. I hope she’s able to record more of the same while her pipes are still in great shape because it really is a gift to the world and she deserves to be heard by a wide audience.

Nice video. If you’ve never heard Julee Glaub’s CD Faraway Fields you should go on CD Baby or similar and get it. I think the 2nd song in this vid is from that CD, and it gives you a sense of how rich and georgeous her voice can be on a CD, though there are 8 even better songs on it like ““My Dear Irish Boy.” It’s amongst the best CDs out there. Her voice on it is among the best I’ve heard. The arrangements and musicality on that CD are marvelous esp on How Can I Keep from Singing.
