Google's information monopoly extends from 70% of the search market to 95% of the mobile search market. But Google refuses respect our "Do Not Track" wishes. This 3rd installment of the animated "Don't Be Evil" series uses the Google's CEOs own words to satirize the company's mobile tracking practices and make the case for a "Do Not Track" law.

First off, the internet was a clusterfuck before Google. Second, you need to bring up specific examples of what Google is doing wrong that jeopardizes peoples way of life. Lastly, are cartoons and mimes the best way to bring your plight into the spotlight?

The irony here is that they are putting anti-Google videos on Youtube, a Google-owned outfit - oh, and asking for donations to help them pay their bills and fat salaries. Very classy - NOT.

"Just search for articles about Google at EFF{dot}org and arstechnica{dot}com"

And don't forget about the consumerwatchdog{dot}org!

    .

    Exerpts:

"Just this week, European antitrust regulators gave the company an ultimatum to change its search business or face legal consequences. American regulators may not be far behind."

    .

Let's stop on this one. Everyone can dig up more examples on Google either braking the law or getting away with other skeemy activities.

"Second, you need to bring up specific examples of what Google is doing wrong that jeopardizes peoples way of life."

    1. Google has tremendous ammount of information gathered about each user and it is obliged to share it with the US government.

    2. There is NO certainty that the information will not be sold or used in other ways in the future that solely for advertising purposes.

    3. MANY more.

Just search for articles about Google at EFF{dot}org and arstechnica{dot}com

"The irony here is that they are putting anti-Google videos on Youtube"

It's not irony. It's rationalism. Google being privacy offender or not the fact is YouTube is the most popular video platform. Hence they used it. If you don't get as simple mechanism as this maybe you should at least stop playing smartass.

So you use a Google product to share your rant? How ironic...

How about not having neither the Government spy on me or Apple or any mobile, or , telecom or internet provider? Is that too much to ask for? How about just advertising telling people about all the freedoms they readily give away and get them to wake up about privacy rather than petition the Government?

Google monopoly? There are far bigger problems, such as patents and copyright. How about bringing some law to the corrupt movie and music industry? How about opening up their accounting books to some inspection. How about calling lobbying what it really is, bribery, and making it illegal. There are far bigger problems than Google (and every one else, like Apple) spying on you.
