"Speechless huh?" He smirked with a sparkle in his deep mocha eyes.
I was about to protest, but then just rolled my eyes. "Wha-What are you doing here?" I stood up and settled a hand on my hip. His brown curly locks blew gently as the cool breeze flew by. He looked even better than before, if that was possible.
"Well I live here." he said with a smug expression. Then his smile softened into a sincere one, and showed his cute dimples on the side of his lips. "Lets start over then. I'm Nick Jonas." He held his hand out towards me.
I was still a bit hesitant but then thought, What the hay? Why not. So I took a couple of steps toward him, and then took his warm hand in mines. "Nice to meet you Nick." I couldn't help but smile back.
"So you moved into the Wilson's place huh?" Nick asked casually.
I nodded my head, "Yeah, this place is a real keeper, its beautiful."
"Sure is. But wait, why are you living here? I thought you were going to live in New York?"
"Nope, I was in New York for a little while because I just wanted to get the experience of living there, you know? I planned to live there for about three weeks with my college roomate, while looking for a home somewhere in New Jersey. But once I saw this place, I knew instantly that this was it. So i couldn't resist, and bought it right away." I laughed. "So what about you, why were you at the New York airport?" I asked curiously.
"I was just dropping off an old friend." he shrugged. Then Nick looked back to his porch, and then a smirk spread across his face. "So you were listening in on me when I was playing guitar huh?"
I instantly started to blush a cherry red. "Wh-What?...No...No of course not! I had just come out here to relax and take a break from unpacking, when I heard you playing. So i went to go check it out and see what was up."
"Sure sure, thats why you were so nervous." He chuckled. "I'm just fooling around with you."
I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Do you wanna maybe have a drink with me? I have iced tea, soda, lemonaide, water? Or maybe a beer?" I giggled.
Nick smiled, "Sure. I'll just have whatever you were drinking."
"Okay. I'll be right back, I need to get the pitcher of lemonaide from inside." I turned and started back to the house when I heard a loud THUD behind me. Surprised, I turned and saw Nick standing in front of me. I gasped and shrunk away, only to start giggling. "Oh my Nick you scared me! How did you get over so fast?"
"I jumped." He shrugged and took a seat at the table underneath the umbrella.
I chuckled and went inside to get the things.
