  • @sailing19100 Actually there aren't many organs here, in Israel. We do have a few churches here but obtaining permission to use their organs is not that easy, I think. There are also other institutes that have organs but I have no idea how easy they are, granting permissions. I would very much like to play real organs, but never actually took the steps to do it. Should really give it a serious try, some day.

  • @ronb127 If you are like most of us, there are organs all around you, and it is very easy to secure permission to use them. Let me ask you, do you avoid the organ, and do you prefer to stay in the realm of the keyboard renditions? I ask because that was the case for me. thanks.

  • @sailing19100 Thank you for your detailed comment. I have never had the chance to play the organ. I've had some thoughts about trying to obtain organ pedals and plug them to a synthesizer through MIDI, but that's too ambitious for me right now. So I just play these amazing pieces on a keyboard, praying some day to play on a real organ! Thanks again for your comment.

  • your fingering is very economical. at your chosen tempo, your trills are technically perfect. this is one of bach's most majestic works, in my h. o. do you have any desire to play it on the organ, and if so, have you done so, even just the keyboard parts? have you attempted the pedal parts on a pedal board? I sense you are learning this piece, and when refined, your use of rubato will bring an exquisite dynamic tension that this piece requires. i hope you will post another vid of the same
