@AugustFirst1927 I'm aware that in a country the size of China there certainly will be ongoing power struggles between the army and the party, but the Army is actually the Partys. That's a difference from most other countries, and it carries quite the implications.
Though that is not what I posted about. What I posted about was my fear for people following a powerful entity, be it the Party or the Army or Religion, without criticism. No force in the world i completely good.

@cokeaddict87 How so? The Chinese Army is about the only good force left in the PRC! The Communist Party is now the "State Capitalist" Party, the local administrators should all be shot, and anyone who cries about Tibet, Taiwan, or Xinjiang should be hung!

@AugustFirst1927 The harmful effects of nationalism and lack of critical thinking when it comes to authority is hardly superstition of any kind.
China is great country. I'm currently studying Chinese and it's culture is incredibly rich and I've only begun to scratch the surface of that great heritage. Still, it has issues that needs to be addressed and thus this guys criticism is well-founded.
