This is the last 737 landing for United Airlines as shot from seat 14F. The flight was from LAX to SFO. Congrats to Captain Russo and I wish him well on his retirement!

  • @krnv4 actuly they have winglets now

  • @SenorSpode no they dont they use 300s and 500s

  • the 737 classics, Don't have winglets,

  • @WorldAirwaysMD11

well actually, firstly yes, it is a -300, BUT, the 500 is actually shorter than the 300 in length, the height and wingspan are the same. it was from the -600 forwards that the new wings were used

  • @SenorSpode That 100% is a 300. United never operated the 400 series, they only had the 200, 300, and 500. I can tell their difference by looking at the fuselage of the aircraft. The 300 does look a bit smaller The 500 is and looks alot wider and has a higher height then the 300. The 400 is longer then the 300 but the same height. If you look online or go to the airport and and are luck enough to find one you might be able to see the difference then.

  • @SenorSpode Thanks hahahaha =)

  • @WorldAirwaysMD11 You're sure that's a -300? I know that the -300 and the -400 use the same wing, they were carry-overs from the -200 line that had CFMs fitted to them until the -500 and up got a new wing without the rear fairing. But I can always use an education...what makes this one a -300? United used both -300s and -400s.

  • @charlybaron Reach high, man...reach high!

  • What?! No firetruck shower for the retiring captain??? How sad! The landing was befitting of a final landing, my congratulations and best wishes to Captain Russo.

Oh...and whoever disliked this video can go spoon a goat.

  • @Iamfukenripped You're right. United is one of the very few airlines that has a strict zero-filming policy on their planes, it's sad. Other airlines will either let you film at certain times or all the time...but you have to ask first. They are very gracious, but United isn't. But Capt. Sprague, United 757 driver, was a very gracious captain. Even he said it was a bad policy.
