@sugamama8 Hey St Lucia is amazing make sure you bring some extra cash to rent a taxi cause in no circumstances should you attempt to drive! Lucians drive like crazy around hairpin turns!

the drive to Castries(the capital) takes about an hour...and if you get car sick, I strongly suggest taking some dramamine after getting off the plane. You will ascend a couple thousand feet several times winding around the mountains on the way there....the air pressure mixed with the curvy roads can make for one hell of a ride...

The drive from Hewanorra to the resort was roughly 45 minutes to an hour. It's a scenic drive, but just be prepared if you easily get car sick because the roads are very windy.
Drink a "No Pressure" for me while you're there!

Yes, it was very beautiful, but there's a very noticeable disparity between the resort life and life outside the resort. The weather was nice when we went last June, couple quick showers here and there. One thing they don't mention is that there's not much beach to speak of at the Regency because it's set between two cliffs. That made the waves enormous, and they kept the red flags up most of the time we were there.
