To the author: Great work on this video. The animation and lip syncing is spot on. One question though: Why did you decide to make this? Was it for a school project or were you just really bored? It seems like a lot of work to put into something that you can't really do much with (since it's a remake of copyrighted material) other than to show your skill as an animator.

Thanks. This wasn't done for the heck of it. Tootsie hired us. This was an actual commercial that aired in the US, Mexico and Korea. Why Korea? I have no idea.

the owl is an asshole, not only does he eat the kids toostie pop via deception, but when he hands back the tootsie pop stick, he hands gives the kid the end he bit off of first.
ugh, seeing as it's an owl, the kid would probably have some random disease now.
