http://www.FTV.com/videos MILAN - The story behind the Frankie Morello Spring/Summer 2012 collection at Milan Fashion Week goes like this. There are three adventurous girls who are quite different from one another, but all want to go to Italy to experience something special and bring a souvenir with them back home. There are symbols of Italy throughout the entire collection, emblazoned on dresses and tunics amidst bold and sometimes overdone prints that run chaotically throughout the line. The Leaning Tower of Pisa here, a sculpture there. Colors like black, white, and pink run rampant. Also red and aqua in the form of suit jackets and pleated skirts that branch out. Raincoats with fur and logo emblazoned tees in true Frankie Morello style. A great homage to Italy in the cartoonish and cool ways of the brand.
