Yep Sinead seemed a bit mad, but was actually very sane - and took on the power structure of the church. Meanwhile she made/makes beautiful music.

Regarding her actions toward the catholic Church heirarchy - She was the first to do anything on behalf of those, including herself, who were abused by that structure. It took an enormous amount of courage and she knew at the time that it would create a lot of anger toward her, but she was brave enough to do something. It may be that her action was not the best use of her energy, but I admire her guts, and applaud her stamina.
