Tink's Existence is a Crime, Dark Court Search, Disgaea 2
---
Episode Three, Item World seeking the Portal to the Dark Court. Contains the Tutorial info that is relevant for doing this. Continuing through Item World, you eventually find the portal on the floor the Bailiff is on within the item, and any character may enter becoming a felon. However it's more lucrative to throw a mob into the portal having up to 9 units be convicted. In the Netherworld, Crime is rewarded so you get little bonuses aside from a nice cool little item given for being boss dood! The Subpoena Officer will assist if you have further crimes to commit, one that is most likely to get early on might be High stats, or Geo Vandalism. Prinnies don't wander the Item World, but they are found in parts of the main game story, and in the Dark Court, as Pirates, and the Cell Phone Store.

Among the benefits for Felonies, the following information is relevant for being a felon...
Displayed felonies grant the following increases and benefits:
Displayed Felonies (Max = 99)
- Decrease Shop buy prices by 1% per felony (Max = 33%)
- Increase Shop sell prices by 1% per felony (Max = 33%)
- Increase Dark Assembly Approval Rating (complicated...)
- X felonies levels up enemies by X when you ascend in Dark World
- Characters with these are unable to damage the Dark Sun in Dark World
- A certain number of these is required to unlock certain extra stages
Hidden Felonies (Max = 300)
- Increase EXP gain by +1% per felony

There are many different crimes or charges, some are one time per cycle while others can be acquired over and over again. Mr. Gency Exit, or M R Gency Exit, Emergency exit is a good idea to use when you have them, but they could be very valuable and aquiring a mass of them might be for a cause, perhaps like leveling a perfect r40 weapon...

Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories (魔界戦記ディスガイア2, Makai Senki Disugaia Tsū?, lit. "Netherworld Battle Chronicle: Disgaea 2") is a tactical role-playing game developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software for the PlayStation 2 video game console. Disgaea 2 is the sequel to 2003's Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the PlayStation 2 and was released in Japan on February 23, 2006 and North America on August 29, 2006. It is also the predecessor to Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice for the PlayStation 3. Unlike Nippon Ichi's previous games, Disgaea 2 is on DVD-ROM and has an animated opening movie. It was re-released for the PlayStation Portable as Disgaea 2 Portable in Japan and as Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days in the United States.

Story Synopsis: Fifteen years ago, a powerful Overlord by the name of Zenon appeared on Veldime and cursed its human population. Since then, all its inhabitants became demons and were to remain that way if the curse was not broken. However, a young man named Adell was the only human unaffected by the curse. Wanting to save his family and return them back to their true form, Adell decides to defeat Zenon. Adell's mother, a summoner, tries to summon Zenon and failed, and instead summoned Rozalin, Zenon's daughter. They later go on a quest to find Zenon and return Rozalin to him, and then defeat him so that the curse would be lifted, and so his family would be human again.

  • @SAMTHEMANTHATCAN I'm not familiar with Axel Mode or how long it would take to beat, I'd imagine it would be relatively close to Adell's story and length. With those levels though and rushing through it all, I think it would take a lot less time though.

  • @StoneMonkWisdom I was just wondering how quickly one could play through Axels mode in terms of hours after doing Adell mode if he were skipping the story and had 5 characters with stats around the 15k (att, def, int e.t.c) mark and was rushing?

  • @StoneMonkWisdom Ok now i perfectly understand. Thanks for the reply.

  • @SAMTHEMANTHATCAN Once you visit the Dark Court, the Bailiff vanishes from the item. A Bailiff with a value of 22 would have a portal for the Dark Court, appearing on floor 22 in whatever item the Bailiff is currently in. Once you enter the portal, the Bailiff is now gone and you receive felonies for whomever you've thrown in (can throw a tower of 9 into the portal).

  • @StoneMonkWisdom Ah i understand now. So if i were too take a bailiff off the subpoena i had done and put it on an item i planned on levelling, would that Bailiff still appear at the same floor it did in the subpoena?

  • Bailiff has no effect besides having a gate appear in Item World for the Dark Court. Transferring a Bailiff to an Item you are currently leveling is simply meant to save time going through Item World to get to another Dark Court. If I had to start from floor 1 every single time, I'd stop going into Item World because it would suddenly be more of a hassle gaining felonies. Hopefully, this answers your questions.

  • @StoneMonkWisdom Yes but what does a Bailiff do? I mean if i were to put one on an equipped weapon or item what effect would it have. I thought items only levelled up as you went through that items world? Are you saying that if there is a bailiff on an item that when i go into the item world and level it up the stats rise higher per level with the bailiff on? I apologise for the question as i'm sure its a bit silly but i just don't get it.

  • @StoneMonkWisdom correct.

  • Felonies have one downside, though. Units with felonies cannot damage the dark sun if they ascend up to it in the dark world - instead, they have the same effect as enemies ascending up to it. (in that the level of all enemies on the map increases by the level of the one who ascended)

But if you don't bother with the dark world, the only thing to do is avoid getting them on Adell, since that DOES affect the ending.

  • @StoneMonkWisdom how can i transfer? ^^ and wahts the matter with the baliff in for excample a sword?
