@animeholiic I think it's before, because Soushi could still pilot them, but the other pilots have a higher risk of assimilation. So it's logical that later on, Fafner technology would improve and to lower the assimilation risk. (This is if you're referring to right of left)

If you're referring to Heaven and Earth, I'm not sure.

@Erinyes haiz... is an anime like EVANGELION ... vry sad sad ending...... sad T^T the bad alien thingy always come to consume people emotion..... vry vry sad all the pilot always suffer from assimilation from the alien .... and if fully assimilation they vanish = eaten.... sad sad sad and many of this pilot never live long even the alien not come coz due to the MECH they pilot will shorten their live.... sad sad
