@AggressiveAgnostic .... that was my thought as well .... it's funny to me that liberals do not think they are "led" and yet nobody in the audience expected Obama to say this, and they whistled and cheered and clapped without even knowing or understanding what he was saying.

I dont agree with alot of what president obama says But

1. He is our president. he deserves respect.

2. Civilian Security already exists. its called Militia.

he doesnt need to make one. i would love to see president obama out with a militia, talking with them, and shooting guns with them.

Wilson had the same sort of thing and he used it to keep people from challenging the administratiion's policies. Remember Noriega's "dignity battalions"? Scary stuff. This didn't sound like the sort of group that would be picking trash along the interstate.
