You do have a priveleged life but unfortunately, the majority of people in the world aren't capable of attaining this kind of lifestyle. It has been said that we, as Americans, are living in the most psychologically destructive society in the world.

@365to173repubsPWNED They enhance my life and bring me joy. I don;t have them to feel good about myself. I feel good about myself already. I am not proud of my cars, I enjoy them. I am proud of my family, my softball team winning the world series, and the charitable work I do. -RG

Considering the fact that 40% of world's richest people in Forbes list are not happy, $ & material things don't always bring prosperity. It really depends on your personality and circumstances. To some of us, owning nice cars & million$mansions are the prosperity while some of us believe that it is unnecessary to own things in order to feel true happiness, and some just have no clue what makes them happy. Happiness is not only in one shape, and it is important for us to find our own prosperity.

actually from the looks of your bedroom you seem somewhat of a minimalist. I think over the definition of a minimalist is to only have what you need and use your money for what you really want. Yes you have 5 cars and yes you get to sit in a suite on a plane but i mean come on it's a 13 hour flight. It would be excessive if it was 1 hour flight of something. Materialism on an extreme would be a hoarder or a collector. People should stop buying random crap and spend money on experiences...

To me a person has a problem when they are willing to sell their values to attain the material. Which in today is majority of the people. Back in the days women would become prostitutes under dire circumstances; today its because she wants a cell phone. I would buy a car if I can, I would buy a house if I can. But I will not until I am capable. There is problem when people think they deserve a house even though they fiances it. Nobody deserves anything you have to work for it.
