Okay folks...of course the puppy does not eat the whole bowl of food.

cute!!! i want to have a shih tzu but my mom hates dog..because of their poops .. can u train them where to poop?

They are small dogs so there's not much poop. Just walk them regularly. It doesn't have to be a long walk either. One block usually does the job. They are so cute, funny, and sweet. Great cuddlers. I hope you get one. :)

@dazzle7000 um some shih tzu just get scruffy...no matter how much you comb and wash...they roll around and mess up their fur. Trust me on this!...Shih tzu mommy of 5 years here.

@sadieisabel glad to see someone who feeds their dogs the same way i do, i leave a full bowl at all times so that the animal knows there is food whenever the are hungry hence why they usually eat all in the bowl is because they technically don't know when the next batch of food is coming.. if there is food at all time, they will eat regularly and i have never had a fat cat or dog nor sick from over eating because of that :)

@SuperRockinPrincess Yes, you can train them where to go to the bathroom. Our dog is trained to ring a bell when she wants out to use the bathroom and if no one lets her out, she has a spot where there are pads she can go and do her business.

llol mine also gets the hiccups and hes so cute, i feel bad for him though cause even I dont like to get the hiccups...and yes they eat very little...my dog only eats once a day even though he has access to food....they are just too cute not to have one..or two :)

Isabel is a cute puppy, BUT she would look a lot cuter if you groomed her. Talk to your vet about grooming and/or other Shih Tzu owners. There are online chat groups you can join. Just looking at her on a 2-minute video I have to wonder if you've ever brushed her or given her a bath. I see this video is a few years old so I hope your little girl looks better now. I'm not criticizing to be mean; I'm concerned about your baby's wellbeing. Good luck!
