Be Still and Know- Spoken Word, Poetry

That 50/50 type of faith... You know, sometime you Give your problems to God and then you take it back. Like, You know what Lord, I think I can do it myself And then come to find out that your digging yourself in this hole, so so so deep that your Lost type of faith. BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD... Please don't fall deep like I did until you realize the power of God. He is sovereign.

At first when God was trying to talk to me, I was not still. Once I was still, I was able to hear what God was trying to tell me. His confirmation to me through that time which I express as my testimony was "be still". I was too busy to hear him, and when I didn't hear him, I took it upon myself to try to fix it. Once I was still, is when I allowed God to move in my life. I believe the message that God wants me to stress to the many people who are caught up in the world and their busy life styles is to"Be still... and know that I am God." However, this poem is written in a way that is a talk with God. Hopefully by the grace of the holy spirit can His message reach the minds and hearts of people to receive his message through the way in which it is written and spoken, as a talk with God.
