The second generation of the BMW 1 Series hatchback is packed with more gadgetry than ever, including new, super-efficient petrol and diesel engines, and lots of equipment you would expect to see on larger luxury cars. There's greater scope for personalisation (a bit like the MINI) too.

Congratulations BMW, you just managed it to make the 1er even more ugly than it was before. They made so decent cars in the sixties and seventies.

Over half of the people complaining probably can't even afford this vehicle. Regardless, I can't give into peer pressure... lol this car looks clean to me, inside and out. Heck, the more people who don't like it the better, I like having unique things...I'd totally consider owning one.

@Ceh000 No, leave alone that figure. What you get in the US is a believable real world benchmark. In Europe those numbers are ridicolously far from reality due to stupid homologation tests at constant speed on a dyno with very slow accelerations. So in US a 30 mpg car will actually do 30 mpg. In EU a 50 mpg car will struggle past 35 even with the slowest driver ever

@juank2000 i think he's funny and smart, i believe most people feel the same. Carbuyer almost a one man show and he's got over 16,600 subscribers, name another one man car review chanel has more subscribers, he's got that many for reason.
