  • how does it pull your boat out of the water. im guessing it has no problem? my boat appears to be a bit bigger, and im wondering how a 150 would do. i use a 1999 f50 now, and that is a little over kill.

  • @parshnipe69 This motor makes peak tq between about 1500 - 5000 RPM. That with the short 1st gear and the 3.73 gears, it pulls great! My truck in 4x4 low will pull the boat up the ramp with just idle! It's pretty funny!

  • @ashtrey05 v=VRtD_rDimHk or v=8EuQ6f8rgT4 or v=38zWybjFPi0 shall i go on? Fords are like hondas, built with loose tolerances so it works fine until you get to 100000 miles, then it all disintegrates

  • @GermanyIsAwes0me my 1997 Ford Explorer has 214k miles on a 5.0 v8 still going strong with just routine maintenance long as you take care your car it will last.

  • @XxViciousxX exactly

  • @GermanyIsAwes0me please list your sources for the info provided. I happen to have a 1999 F350 v10 with over 260K miles that runs fine. Any car should last if taken care of.

  • 10 seconds 0-60 not bad at all. Especially when towing 6k. My truck takes longer than that with a V8 turbo diesel and NO load.

  • @Fast355 The ecoboost would EMBARASS (really badly) your 06 ram.

  • @ashtrey05 thanks a lot man, i think ill go with an eco instead of an f250. i just didnt know how id pull it out of the water, some of the boat lunches around where i live are very very pathetic. most are very steep, and some aren't even cemented. but thats why they make 4x4 right?? lol thanks again

  • @GermanyIsAwes0me this makes no sense. it is well known for hondas to go 300000 miles plus

  • @GermanyIsAwes0me My first car was a Honda Accord with 287k miles. ashtrey is right, any car -should- last a long time being it is taken care of. There are of course, exceptions, (cough cough) looking at you 2.5L Subaru motor.

  • @GermanyIsAwes0me have a 99 F150 5.4 2x4 210xxx driven like it was stolen from day one over 50 bottles of nitrous 175 shot put throw here never had a problem.. thought the trans was going out at 184 but turned out to be a vss. and i im very bad up upkeep all ways running the oil down till there is nothing on the stick... I love FORD

  • @ashtrey05 i get your point. VW's transmissions though are the first dual clutch systems and has the quickest shift of any clutches. The technology was mind blowing when it came out.

But i guess you're right. Different clutches for different purposes. VW also didn't use the dual clutch in their Amarok pick up.

    peace out and HF

  • @Harmonlisa I haven't gotten to tow it much on flat land. There are so many tall, rolling hills where I take it. But I get about 12.
