What a great collection SB.. You've got systems I've never heard of so it was a real treat to watch. Rockem Sockem Robots were great!

@zakkattakk89 I am sorry but it looks like you don't get it. armour geddon was not a wargame. And I used to own both Amiga and ST. I am very well aware of the games that existed in both platforms, especially of one of my two favourite genres. Wargames on the Amiga were very very very rare.
When I was talking about music creation I meant professionally on its own. Not to create games. But music. You might want to check more place about this because I have no interest in teaching it. bye.

@Trusteft yes, armour geddon is part of this sub genre you speak of and there are many many. The lemon Amiga website contains over 100 games in the sub genre strategy : war. I agree graphically they where on par, but the Amiga sound was way ahead of its time. i do not understand how the Atari was better for music creation? do you mean easier? because its plain to see the results are far better on an Amiga. I mean just compare the Turrican music, amiga is in a whole different league. Peace

@zakkattakk89 No no no no. Not war games, wargames. It's a type of games. How do we say FPS, RPG, RTS, etc.
I just woke up so I can't think properly, so, here is a link that hopefully explains it well. Youtube doesn't allow links so just go to wikipedia and search for Wargame_(video_games)
Amiga was superior technically, but the ST could do just as well in many graphical levels, but required more work for it.For music creation the ST was far better, but that is another discussion.

@Trusteft no war games? what about armour geddon 1 and 2? and campaign 1 and 2 to name a couple. to be honest i never had an atari, but i remember playing turrican 2 on a friends system. The atari versions music sounds like a game boy!

@zakkattakk89 Although I also owned an Amiga 1200 (1993), I was always more Atari ST guy than anything else. I wouldn't use the word owns for the situation back then. As I said there were games that simply did not exist on the Amiga (and the other way of course). Amiga had very few proper strategy games and wargames, for example the already mentioned Colonial Conquest, but also several others. I wish I still had both an ST and Amiga.

@Trusteft hit the nail on the head there. Amiga owns atari
