I went to a Joyce Meyer convention this weekend. Guess what fascinated me most -- those huge cameras; especially the ones on the long reach poles. Afterwards I checked out some of their back drops. One guy told me they had at least four semi trucks pulling all the stuff -- or was it seven semis. I'm sorry that I forgot. Got to see the backside of the large screens. There were some mighty huge projectors aimed at the backside of a screen which was sewn into the curtain. The entire platform was also something that they took apart and packed back into those trucks. Then all the electronic equipment. . . it must have been seven semi trucks. Yes, the message was good and good for me. I needed that. All the people there reminded me of going to camp meeting. So many believing Christians in one place reminds me that I'm really not alone after all. In a normal daily work world sometimes its hard to remember that there are other Christians out there. On the way home some ladies in a convertible gave a big hurah to my sign on the back of my car that says "God really does mean what He says." They must have been from the Joyce Meyer convention too.
