*after school*

Sel: *walks quickly to the boys school, avoiding Nick. Gets there early and sits on the wall listening to her iPod*

Nick: *walks up and sees her on the wall, her eyes closed concentrating on the music. He smiles as he walks up to her and stands in front of her, about to speak when she sings along*

Sel: *singing, still with her eyes closed*

Nick: *smiles as he listens to her*

Sel: *opens her eyes and looks down to play another song when she sees a body out of the corner of her eye. Her head snaps up quickly, embarrassement and surprise showing all over her reddening face*

Nick: uh... hi.

Sel: when did you get here?

Nick: About two seconds ago... why is it that every time i come over to you, your singing?

Sel: *turns off her iPod* i dunno, bad timing.

Nick: *watching her* nope, perfect timing... you ok?

Sel: *shrugs and lifts her bag off the floor and onto her lap, trying to distract herself* yeah.

Nick: Dont act weird around me.

Sel: *looks up at him, while fixing her bag* im not *looks back down*

Nick: *sighs* Sel... Youve been avoiding me all day and youre barely speaking to me. Now that youve told me, well screamed it, dont you think that talking about it would be the best thing to do?

Sel: *squeezes her eyes shut in defeat, hears the school bell ring and breathes out in relief as kids start swarming the playground. She looks at him with an eyebrow raised* now?

Nick: *doesnt take any notice of the kids running around their feet* yes, now.
