@yaotzinv I agree with you entirely. Her corruption & advancement by feeding off the work of the ordinary people - with aspirations to creating her own oligarchy - was known well before the Orange Revolution. I'm so tired out by the cynical waving of the nationalist card. Neither she nor the current government actually give a damn about Ukraine, its people or nationhood. Her 'Natalka Poltavka' hairdo is merely another ploy to dupe the masses. Ukraine needs to be resuscitated from the inside.

@Masterfootballer23 Judging by your elaboration on your political stance, I'm with you as to your perspective regarding true democracy.

Yes, I'd love to see Ukraine adopt the Swiss Democratic system. There must ALWAYS be independents (Ombudsmen/women) who have true authority is scrutinising the system inbuilt INTO the system. Any truly democratic system needs checks & balances at every level in order to address systemic problems & give individuals true power & will to continuously analyse it!

@irynski I know that and that's why I'm proud that Ukraine is more of a democracy then more western countries and especially USA. I hate Laissez-Faire Capitalism, My favourite system is a mixed economy leaning left so far. Anyway, always nice to talk to some of the mroe educated youtubers.

@Masterfootballer23 I didn't claim that Representative Democracy has anything to do with true Democracy: it has become an economic system aligned to the interests of the oligarchy/plutocracy. Capitalism is a system of opportunism which has nothing to do with true egalitarianism: it merely attempts to propagandise us into believing Capitalism = Democracy. This is a lie.

Capitalism represents the interests of the plutocracy. In the west, people have naively been programmed to believe these lies.

@irynski That's not democracy, democracy is a government where the majority decides what to do. So if 51% of people want to put Tymoshenko in prison, democracy allows it. Individual rights can be agreed on in democracy (over 51%) or in autocracy (1 person) but it doesn't have to be however all countries must obide by UN terms for basic individual rights, though all countries have to agree to make a basic right so there's not that many universal individual rights right now.

@Masterfootballer23 Democracy IS supposed to be about the individual's rights to form an opinion (preferably an informed opinion!). Your vote and opinion is as valid as anyone else's. That is the nature of Representative Democracy.

@irynski There are some good younger candidates coming up. I'd rather they had no corrupt ties. Naturally, mistakes could be made... but not sweetheart contracts hidden under bureaucracy. If there are mistakes & corruption, let them come to the fore straight away. This is exactly what has happened in the West: every politician is already in someone's pocket. Let's see someone who isn't prepared to be bought yet!

Hitler was actually a very smart man... and Stalin was a simple (but paranoid) man who let power and influence from the administration around him make his mind up for him until he was nothing but a simple tyrant. There's danger in both. I would rather those who don't already have strong personal fiscal ties, but have a heart and intelligence, get a shot at the top position. It's time for Representative Democracy toss 2 party systems!
