Thank You Congresswomen!

Nevada children and families would like to thank our hard-working Congresswomen who have fought for Nevada children by voting for real health care reform! We know it has been a hard struggle, but you both fought tirelessly for the welfare of Nevada families. Between both of your districts, the Affordable Health Care for America Act will protect up to 7,600 families in your districts from bankruptcy due to unaffordable health care costs, will qualify over 414,000 households in your district for affordability credits if they need to purchase their own coverage, and help over 47,000 individuals in your district with pre-existing conditions that previously prevented them from buying insurance. On behalf of Nevada children and families in Nevada, we send our deepest appreciation to Congresswoman Shelley Berkley and Congresswoman Dina Titus for placing a historic vote this week.
