This video is great. Thanks for helping to preserve the memory that is the gorgeous Micky Dolenz. I can't wait to meet him when he comes to Alaska this fall! I LOVE this man and hope he continues to do what he does best for MANY more years to come!

Strange you made this with Mickey Dolenz. It's strange because Toni Basil did this song for the only Mickey she ever knew in her life, Mickey Dolenz. It was for him.

I love the Monkees, Mickey is great and this is splendid, funny, clever, excellent timing; I'd just say the actual Toni Basil song title was just "Mickey" not with a "hey"..but this is super!

Also, are you by any chance a Mike Myers fan? I remember that "cheeky monkey" line from one of Myers' "Saturday Night Live" skits, "Simon," where the character, sitting in a bathtub while showing his drawings, implored viewers not to stare at his "bum."
Apparently that skit was inspired by an actual, British children's TV series, "Simon In The Land Of Chalk Drawings," where the child character would enter (via his backyard fence) the action of his pictures drawn on a magic chalkboard.

Yes Gymnastix, I do happen to be a Mike Myers/comedy/SNL fan and that is originally where the inspirtation for my username came, I just tweaked it a little to fit better my situation. I wish I could drop the numbers at the end of my name though...oh well...thanks.
