FA "Đido" - Lindjo

Folklore Ensemble "Djido" - Bogatic, Serbia

A round-jump , originating from South Dalmatia and the surroundings of the ancient town of Dubrovnik. The music and the costumes exhibit the Mediterranean mentality of the inhabitants, famous for their jovial temperament. The leader of the dance , "the shouter", gives funny orders for various combinations of the dance-steps, accompanied by only one musical instrument, the lyeritsa.
