Blairs comments come on the heels of reports that Barack Obama had embraced predecessor George W. Bushs policy of authorizing the killing of US citizens involved in terrorist activities overseas. Blair said one needs "special permission" before an American citizen can be placed on the assassination list, but consider from whom that "permission" is obtained: the President, or someone else under his authority within the Executive Branch.
