@mlpdade for one calm down... for two unless you got a custom tranny both automatic and stock weigh about the same look it up.... the automatic tranny is about 30 pounds heavier... Wats 30 Pounds????

@Dacop2007 YOU ARE SO WRONG!!! DID YOU HEAR WHAT YOU JUST SAID??!! After my 5 speed 98 maxima swap I was much faster than an automatic!!! Automatic transmissions weigh more than manual transmissions!
Automatic= heavy ass tranny + heavy ass torque converter!
Manual= light smaller tranny + flywheel/clutch!
Get your facts straight buddy!!!

@mlpdade Not being rude but a manual transmission doesn't make a car faster... think about it.... If a car has 200Hp a car has 200Hp... regardless of weather it is manual or Auto... if a car generates the same amount of hp it really shudn matter... Now i admit its way more fun to drive a stick but not faster just have more control over the car

@delukze No, what killed this maxima was it's automatic transmission. If it were a 5 speed manual, the maxima would have won. I raced a friend of mine who had a 95 civic with a b20z2 swap, 5 speed lsd (way lighter than a scion). He beat me bad by like 10 car lengths in my maxima with the automatic transmission but, when I did my 5 speed swap, I beat him!!! : )
5 speed Maximas make a huge difference compared to the automatic!!!! It's a day and night difference : )

well maybe the driver in the automatic maxima doesnt have much experience... you should teach him the ways.
what i saw was pure physics. same shits gonna happen 100/100, assuming BOTH drivers dont fuck up.

i raced Tc the other 2 times they had a 3 car distance they started pushing it my top end kicked in on the 3.5L spanked them after walking them down to about 3 car distance . from one light to the the other light one was pushing it an i was right there and wasnt pushing lol they are quick but not seeing me

less weight?! Maybe you're the one who's dumb. 1995 nissan maxima weights 3010 lb, where a scion tc weights about 20 lb lighter. maxima comes out a way better performer in this case.
