  • Jesus that's amateur. How is it you're in a band with guitar players and you've never heard of Mosrite guitars. The Ramones, The Ventures, Southern Culture on the skids, Nirvana. Come on hipsters familiarize yourself with something other than your own scene and you might evolve and learn something. That's just lame. They've been on the market for close to 50 years now. "Uni-vox" lol like a uni-corn lol come on man.You can't even pronounce it correctly. Just ignorant.

  • That "Kurt Cobain" guitar would be a Hi-Flier model. They were produced in Japan for the Univox/Unicord company of Westbury, New York. They were available from 1968-1977. Most of them were made in the Matsumoku factory, which also produced early Aria, Greco ,Lyle,Yamaha,Electra,Guyatone & some Ibanez guitars. The Matsumoku factory also produced some of the Japan Epiphones in the 60's & 70's & the Vantage,Westone, & Westbury(univox/unicord after 77) brands of the 80's. The factory closed in 1987.
