This I the development of my system. I don't ad any fertilizer or chemicals, and as you can see my tomatoe plant is a lot bigger then I expected. It has gotten too big for my system and I had to harvest the lettuce to mke room. Hawaiian chili peppers are producing close to 50 peppers, and the wong bok cabbage is huge. I have 9 medium tilapia in a 55 gallon pond and and old recycled ice cooler for my grow bed. This syste is surpasing all of my expectations and I run 30 minute cycle time with no airation.

  • @angurisloud They are both i will eat them when they reach my desired size and continue the cycle

  • Are the Tilapia simply a source of nutrients for the water, or are they too a food source?

  • @JMe9ka Wiamanalo Feed carries a variety of sizes from small to large tilapia

  • Looking good. I live on Oahu and wanted to know... where did you get your golden tilapia?

  • @matahari2929 Yeah that is exactly what has happened the tomatoes have taken over so i harvested them early. Note to self and anyone else grow tomatoe in a seperate bed. Thanks for the comment

  • Great work, good progress. I bet those lettuce taste great. The tomatoes may eventually take over the growbed, its root system may choke the siphon system. watch out for the tomatoes, preferably grow them in a separate growbed. But your system is great.
