@DiogenesLite @JorickHorn perhaps the point is that now you have a more intimate relationship because the conversation was tied to an emotion. Before 'anger' and 'forgiveness' it was less so.
-
@OperaNotes Exactly, he seems to be talking about being honest with others but doesn't at all seem to be honest with himself in the least bit. I think his book would make more sense if it had something to do with being honest with yourself, that is probably much more powerful, and actually would change the world for the greater.

@EcstasyW troll ;)

you are fucking moron. may be he just rubed his nose? you should check out some Eckman books about signs of telling lies. you can't tell that he's telling lies based only on rubbing of nose. shit, this is much deeper and more complicated!
-
@EcstasyW Or he has an itchy nose. Read Allen Pease's body language again, you will discover that it doesnt always mean lying
-
@EcstasyW Can you be certain ? do you never rub your nose for other reasons, like itching, sneezing, etc. Don't present your hypothesis as the truth. Truth is you don't know. You are interpreting.
-
I must be one hell of a liar come allergy season
-
1:49 He rubs his nose. Clear body language indicator of lying.

This guy does not appear to be so honest himself. Arrogance is not a fruit of honesty. Because if you are truly honest, you will be realistic and not consider yourself better than others. I mean, the point of honesty is recognizing the truth. The truth is we all make mistakes and have moments that make us feel like idiots. If you are honest, you will not be able to push that aside and act all high and mighty.

"People are not good at forgiving. It's a fact of life."
NO. FUCK NO. Once again, Your opinion. And that of too many jerks out there. And that doesn't make it fact.
Humans ( what we usually call "people" ) are racional beings. And only by being racional can they live in a society deemed worthy of anything.
PS : Sorry for being rude to you. It's just that your opinion seemed worthy of my attention only to the point I got pissed off with you for calling names to someone you don't personally know.
Here's what I honestly think: He looks like a slightly wider version of Bill Clinton, he's totally crazy, very repetitive, annoying, stupid, arrogant, self-righteous, and difficult to take seriously.
Also, save the world? HA!!!! You've got to be kidding me! Without lies, we have total angered anarchy! People are not good at forgiving. It's a fact of life.

JorickHorn,
Don't knock it til you try it.
People don't forgive so easily, because they don't have an easy tool for doing so. I've practiced this. It's a pretty good tool!
You're making a this-would-happen statement from a point of all theory and no experience. If you try it and it doesn't work, knock it all you want. But until you do, you don't know what the hell your talking about!

No, I wouldn't call it a theory. I'd call it a hypothesis. I admit I have no evidence. Also, I just did try it. My comment was an experiment. It proved successful. You certainly seem angry. I told you nothing but what I truly thought, and I received "don't know what the hell you're talking about" as a reply. Thank you for supporting my hypothesis. A world of radical honesty is a world of trolls.

So it was an experiment! Good! Let's see it through. Sure, it doesn't work to do drive-by telling-offs. RH is about staying with it, until your over it. That can work. And does! We have judgments. There just judgments. "Trolldom" aint so bad! Trolls forgive pretty easily. So let's hang in there and see where this goes. Forgiveness and learning. I had a little anger. Gone now. I still have the judgment of your makign this a right-wrong debate. I hope to get over that too!
