  • Great video mate. Really helped. Just installed this version. Is this the latest?

Any idea how I use different ROMS? Like for example a Darky Rom?

  • @Desperate4changing You have to follow the instructions on the developers websites. I did have CyanogenMod installed on my Galaxy S... It was cool, but there were some things that were stuffing up... Like the external SD card couldn't be read or written. And it removes Swype and Slide to call/text... The Samsung ROM's (unlocked/rooted) are cool :)

  • Mate..my network wont work...help???

  • @bogdanyxxx Either put the phone into airplane mode then back to normal, or redo the steps in the vid... Did you definitely put the "MODEM_I9000XXJVP_REV_00_CL1019177.tar.md5" file in the "Phone" section of Odin3?

  • When it suposed to restart its want to put some code...pls help

  • @Unbitable95 Howdy, it should never ask for a code... Do you have a SIM pin or a lock code on your device?

  • does this works and for froyo on the same way. thanks.

  • Thiw work in Galaxy 5?

  • unfortunatly i used another guide and now my phone locks on the starting menu, is there any way to undo all the changes?

  • Mate..my mobile network still wont work..im at te puttin the APN..still wont work..im thinking to go bk wit the old uptdate...:((

  • THX ..MAN ..IT'S WORKING

  • @bogdannyxxx I had the same issue. It's to do with the APN which is your carrier provider details.

You need to go into your network settings to Access Point Names and then create a new one. You need to create an APN which matches your carrier. You can find the details for the APN by Googling "APN Optus "

for example. Enter those details in and save. Good luck. Sorry for the bad instructions PM if you still have issues :-)
