  • @omari225 Our boat has a 3 blade stainless steel prop with a 23 inch pitch. If you would like to know anything else feel free to just ask, but we also had the engine trimmed up to about 6000 rpm's.

  • I Have that same motor on our 82 Skeeter bass boat, damn those things last forever!

check it out on "getsilly27" i just posted a video of it 2 days ago.

  • its cool

  • You need to shift into gear faster or the lower unit will fail.

  • if you haven't found out yet, close that window when your running like that. That thing starts bouncing and slamming hard when it gets bumpy. Make sure to bring a couple boat paddles as long as that motor is pushing you around. Not being a merc hater just been stranded twice by this same motor and have 0 trust in them. Have fun and be safe.

  • I have that same motor and about the same size boat, what are the numbers on your prop, I have a 26p prop what do you have? I like the way your boat moves, please let me know asap, thanks!
