A GROUP of Indonesians armed with samurai swords and black magic plan to invade and wage war against Malaysia, which it accuses of claiming Indonesian cultural heritage, according to an Indonesian news report.

The Jakarta Globe on Sept 25 reported that Benteng Demokrasi Rakyat (Bendera) had announced Oct 8 as the day when it will avenge all the wrongs committed against Indonesia by its neighbour (Malaysia).

Tensions between the neighbouring countries have continued to escalate in light of the controversy surrounding a Discovery Channel promotion a clip on a Malaysian documentary that featured the Balinese pendet dance.

the problem is indonesia very narrow-minded. since long time ago way before country of malaysia and indonesia ever exist , inhabitants of both country travel and share their cultures, they assimilated and they learned new cultures. indonesians say malaysians steal indonesians cultures, it's like saying inhabitants of malaysia never practise those cultures till indonesia exist 1949, which is definitely wrong.

Indonesian and Malaysian are very similar even the way they look.... fighting among each other are just plain stupid. But one thing is true dough, if u don't like a country don't work for them or their people. It's stupid when people care more about their race then their religion.

Kalo yang mereka katakan menggalang dana untuk kebaikan kemanusiaan di bumi Indonesia, dan seketika mengumbar-umbar kebaikan tersebut, apa itu namanya? Apakah itu yang dinamakan muslim yang ikhlas? Seorang muslim tidaklah mengumbar-umbar kebaikan atau amal yang diperbuat. Dan kebaikan tersebut tidak akan mendapatkan apa-apa jika diumbar-umbar, apalagi pahala. Sungguh memang sebuah negara yang memalukan.

@RedPlumJam That's not the problem. The real problem was the Malaysia wanted to claim such as Batik and Reog Ponorogo as their own culture which is pathetic. Bali dance, Angklung, and some traditional music that is very identically Indonesian Culture were also claimed. Those were such a ridiculous avowal and embarrassing behaviour of the Malaysians. Facepalm for you.

All island of Borneo belongs to Indonesia before european take offer and split it into 2 region, south & north. Its like the vietnam south & north, Corea north & south, Germany west & east. First of all I'm not Malaysian. Secondly, it's called a boat. People use them to cross water so they can go to land beyond their own. Things from different cultures can spread that way you know.
