I've worked for the UP, so I've been around locomotives for almost 14 years. I can safely say that this is not a train horn. Actual horns used on locomotives are about $1500-$2500, are about 24"X24"X12", and are only sold to RRs and locomotive builders.

the horns are just some chinese cheapies that cost me $140 and i got a 5 gallon tank with a viaair compressor with a pressure switch that cuts it off at about 130 psi.

almost $500. that includes the horns, tank, compressor, etc.
