  • this was the sloppiest and most off key he had been on that tour. I miss the old S&S :)

  • Its so amazing to know that he sings over us, that even when we feel we are not worthy He seeks us and is pleased in our devotion to finding Him.

  • @jacobwaldo06 lol

  • Cool fact.... He wrote this song on a paper plate at the restaurant he was at when he got the idea.

  • @hykue617 They take this song from the Song of Solomon speaking of his dove in a rock cleft. They take the interpretation as Song of Solomon being a song of Christ to His church (I dont think that it is . . . but the song is good none the less). So the perspective is a serenade of God to the Bride of Christ, the saints who make up the Body. "my heart faints now for we are her"

  • Oh the riches of God's grace given by Jesus Christ to us who believe! The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. Blessed be the name of the Lord. Come before His presence with singing. I can hardly wait to be with Jesus! Maranatha!!!

  • The NAS version says it like this: Song of Solomon 2:14 "O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret place of the steep pathway, Let me see your form, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your form is lovely."

  • he speaks where its from in the very beggining of the song. Song of Songs 2:14 says:My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely.

  • Should be related to the church being the bride(beloved) and God being the lover of the bride. See SONG OF SONGS in the Bible.

  • ohh. thank you so much! :)
