  • One of my favourite movies ever. I saw it in an old theatre a few months ago that had been built in the '20s and it was such an amazing experience. Monty & Sinatra are WONDERFUL and they're amazing together in this movie. Thanks for such a great! tribute. :)!!

  • Thanks, I had much joy making this film.

An old film in and old theatre. Wow, I truly envy you!

  • One of the greatest movies Hollywood ever produced. It's a pity that people of my generation don't like these movies. They laugh at me when I say I like black and white movies, which just shows how ignorant people of my generation are. And besides, other than the fact that movies from the black and white era a.k.a. Golden Age of Hollywood are better, with greater stories and performances, I think that black and white is sexier and more apealing than coloured movies. My opinion. I'm 16 years old.

  • three? think you mean four, deborah kerr was a movie great just as much as them.

  • the film is on and about pearl harbour, yet it doesn't require special effects or nonsense storytelling like that in 'Pearl Harbour' to tell of human tragedy, old hollywood is just terrific.

  • @GEVMM

    I totally feel the same.

    John from Hungary.

    22 years old.

  • Burt was HOT !!

  • @spangleJ Hey, it's set in Hawaii!! Brings back a rush of memories when my honey and I were there in 2006.

  • @GEVMM ....You....are....awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha I'm about to turn 16 and I think the same thing!!! Black and White movies (and movies up until the 70's) just had better story lines and such! My weakness is romance and movies back before the 70's and 80's were just incredible because of the romance and quality of the movies and perfirmances! But everyone thinks I'm totally nuts.

  • Ex - Corporal Robert E. Prewitt shows Lorene a bugle mouth piece. He proudly tells her, "I played taps at Arlington, they picked me to play taps at Arlington National Cemetery on Armistice Day, the President (Franklin D. Roosevelt) was there." At the end of the movie, Alma (Lorene) holds Prewitt's treasured bugle mouth piece.

  • strange choice of music

  • One of the best movies,EVER!!
