This performance by A Flock of Seagulls was from their concert recorded live for the "Sight and Sound" TV program. This was where the show was broadcasted live on TV, and also simultaneously on an FM stereo radio broadcast. Interestingly, this track is introduced as "Transferred Affection" by Mike Score. Later, on the "Listen" album, the name was abbreviated to just "Transfer Affection".

  • Beautiful song. One of the most underrated bands of all time.

  • New Wave started because of them. They were 100% original, not like today bands that all are fabricated or copycats..

  • Great band live, As much as I love AFOS, I still rue the fact that Mike cannot sing lol.

  • best new wave group of 80s i loved them

  • @rob80nikki Thanks for your reply :-)

Actually, I still remember the song I first heard from them (The More You Live, The More You Love) - must've been 7 or 8 years old. Another one of my all-time favorites (love the video)! Add Space Age Love Song, Nightmares and Who's That Girl (She's Got It) to the list, too!

  • @anjuliet amen anjuliet. They never got the full attention they should have gotten, with this song.

The best they did and this from a life long Flock fan. P.S. Anjuliet.... "dont try to tell me that theres left to hide, ""nothing inside"", ...so hard to break the disguise....hold on to your heart" my friend. ;o)

  • To me, a flock fan, this is the best song they actually ever did. this should be the song that they are known for.

Not knocking I Ran, alot of memories with I Ran, but as far as songs go, this one is the best they ever did.

God Bless all of the 80's bands that brought so much good music for the youth to enjoy.

  • ¡Súper clásico del synth pop 80'ero!!!
