On AIR, at 8:54 PM ET, Keith Olbermann signed off with, "this is the last edition of Countdown" and so long, with a hangdog tone. He of course had the ego or insight to compare himself to the movie "Network", where a reporter has an on air meltdown and quits.... He then went on with another two minutes of mind numbing gibberish, self congratulations for which Olbermann has become famous for. So long Olbermann you really became a big tool, but I thank you for quiting or thank who ever fired you, a long time in coming. I stopped watching you 3 yrs ago when you started bashing Christians and spewing over the top tirades, like telling Hillary Clinton quit campaigning. I can only guess Bill O'Reilly will have a good weekend.

FAIR RIGHT USE OF THIS MSNBC CLIP FROM Dec 21st, 2011 Countdown, I claim no ownership of authorship of the video.

"the uploader of this video is a loudmouth piece of shit and should have been aborted by his skank mother"

Folks this is a typical YouTube liberal, no doubt. Read the deep thoughts this person has.

Dear Punk: You don't know me, but you do remind me to make comments by approval only. Thanks punk.

    PS you are blocked.

  • What I don't like is... he does tell WHY he resigned.

WHY did you resign, eh; Olbermann?

Death threats? Not enough money? What does the term 'too much for me" mean? Too much in what way?... you mean you can't handle honest outrage any longer? You burned out? The CIA finally got you?

For someone who stands as a defender of morals and principles, no explanation is a BAD explanation... your resignation stinks Olbermann. Whatever happened to full disclosure of the truth Olbermann...eh?

  • @turak0

Read a few articles. It's no mystery. He was at odds with MSNBC management, openly funded with his boss and the upper management for a long time. MSNBC execs are on record expressing unhappiness with Olbermann, suspended once for his campaign contributions against MSNBC and common journalistic ethics. The MSNBC work vibe around KO was toxic, tense and hostile. MSNBC fired him, bought out his contract. This isn't the 1st time he was fired. He left ESPN under similar circumstances.

  • @gmcjetpilot Ah: thanks for the info: The behind-the scenes conflict should be exposed. To hell with their secret deals.. For instance:t Jesse Ventura was silenced during the Bush years because he was offered a contract with a media Corp. who then refused to put him on the air because he was against the Iraq war... My point is Ventura TOOK THE MONEY they offered him. He could have refused but he didn't. His excuse? GREED like all the rest of them. Is Olbermann just as corrupt?

  • @turak0

I liked Jesse. Served one term as promised. Then he became a 9/11 conspiracy nut, credibility is shot. I like the idea of ordinary citizens running for office, taking turns, getting out w/ modest nominal compensation. Now it's all professional politicians needing millions to run serving life terms to the detriment of our nation. TERM LIMITS. It's good for Executive office, it's good for the House! Incumbents have been challenged of late because, tea party, good bad ugly, It's democracy.

  • @dream80er LOL you are the typical liberal cunt and coward.

  • If this is representative of his blathering and pablum, I now know why I never bothered to watch his imbalanced diatribes and irrational grandstanding. Much like I quit watching Monday Night Football with Dennis Miller stupid political commentary.

  • @riven2099

"I miss him, an intellegent voice of reason. god forbid that be on tv"

Ha ha! A good one. I laughed really hard. He'll be on "Current" network, so call you cable or satellite TV provider. You can still be lulled to sleep by the hypnotic dulcimer tones of Keith-e-poo, HOW DARE YOU SIR! (insert 5 min rant)

Don't you think MSNBC with that sarcastic young man Maddow, "Obama gives me tingles down my leg" Chris Matthew and The Ed "'Psycho Talk'" Show is enough "intellegent" reason?
