It also looks a bit as though they are vegan to be "different" somehow. Imhao etc.

I'm not sure what event your talking about but I will honestly say it is hard not to hear, for example, a matador(bull fighter) is killed by a bull and think anything less then "good, he deserved it (aka Karma)" But I have learned you cant be rude to people, it doesn't help. but i'd never blame someone for being rude, it's hard to bottle your feelings because your outnumbered. What really pisses me off is if someone killed a pet then it's a big deal, why are people so blatantly hypocritical?

Haa ha - i like the use of the hot cup of imagination at the end there - studies have shown that people looking at other people find the people at whom they're looking are considered kinder, gentler, and more approachable (or words to that effect) if they're holding a cup of tea or coffee or something warm-looking.
Anyway, nicely done - the cup, and the conversation!

I agree too

many of us vegans, at the start can't relate with non-vegans, because we are insecure, we get emotional, we become mind-closed, so it's also very good that vegans don't just repeat words, memorize quotes, but to share their experience, share their view in a friendly but serious talk, that's my share.
I love this video. Great advice, especially for an angry vegan like me who lacks self-control. I will definitely work on my self-control and I think what was said in this video is right on. Thank you.

A lot of vegans (say 50% of those few I know) have a very "alternative" appearance: bolts, tatoos, dreads, under-the-chin beards, gothic clothing... If "the key is not to alienate people", that might be a place to start. People make snap judgements, even if they shouldn't. It must be hard to send a message to someone who doesn't intend to receive it. :(
