Here's a rare clip that not many people
have ever seen. The William Clarke Band
backing up Soap Opera star Steven Nichols
on the Pat Sajek TV Show in 1989.
Steven is the older brother of guitar
player - Zach Zunis.

The band here is Rick Holmstrum
& Zach Zunis on the Guitars.
Ron Maldonado & Eddie Clarke
on Upright Bass & drums.
And of course, the Great William
Clarke on harmonica!
Check out his killer 12 bar solo in
this clip man...RIPPING!!!!

Jeannette Lodovici, William Clarke's Widow,
has another great new CD on Bill that she is
almost ready to release! This one is another
"Live" CD...and the title for this one is:
~LIVE BOOTLEG CASSETTE ANTHOLOGY~

It features 12 great cuts caught on the road
from 2 different time periods. Some of the cuts
are from 1991 and some are from 1996....just
a few weeks before Williams passing.

These is all previously unreleased material....
I've heard all the tracks...and it's some real
Heavy Weight stuff!!!!

You can email Jeannette directly to order
your reserved CD, or to get any of the 6 CD's
that she has put out on William Clarke. Her
email address is: JLodovici@aol.com

Enjoy this rare clip of the Great Band
and the Master Blaster! William Clarke!

  • Bill Clarke great as always - as for the singer - no comment (who is he btw?)

  • @philipwight he is the brother of guitar player Zach Zunis.

He was some kind of soap opera star I guess on TV in the 80's

    and 90's.

  • Love It---------------Bad ass MO FOES

  • Hey Ron...U sound GREAT on Bass my man!

  • The head is actually from a blues/jazz standard called "Jumpin The Blues"....

  • Somehow, when I was trying to respond to a comment...I deleted it. Opps. But here

is what blake46long had to say -

"Just because you can carry a tune and growl in a designer leather jacket doesn't mean you are a Blues singer. Sigh. Clarke's band kicks ass, of course. If you're going to do a vanity project, you might as well hire the best to make you look good."

  • When your singing voice sucks, crank up that reverb. Love the band. William Clarke kicks ass.

  • Bill Clarke was the Best in this era of blues, Not many could hang with him.

  • Who's this fuckwad thinkin' he's in the same league as William Clarke? Not only can he NOT sing he doesn't even have enough class to acknowledge the band who's carrying his totally worthless ass. RIP, William, your the man!

  • Bill was a cool dude, very tough and very funny. He and Hollywood Fats were two great blues musicians of the 80's and 90's in the LA area. I miss them both.

  • musicians recognize the late great William Clarke. The bozos in the Rock Hall induction committee are not in the same class.

  • wasn't Stephen on the soap opera "Days of Our Lives"?

  • William Clarke rules!! He was so GREAT!! R.I.P

  • I never saw this before, this is is a great WC clip. Great sound!! WC you were the greatest!
