As far as Indians being attacked, well there are so many now, it's not unlikely some will be robbed if they put themselves in vulnerable positions like walking at night in bad areas; NO ONE is safe in parts of Melbourne, black or white, you name it, I don't like being at train stations in the evening, it's just not safe anymore. Calling it racism is poor journalism. As mentioned, India has some shocking evidences of violence and they're no position to point the finger. I find them very arrogant.

The Indian media have a lot to answer for, nice cherry picking and distorting facts. I can safely say Dean Jones referred to the guy as a terrorist as in "he is terrorizing the batsmen with his bowling", not he has bombs strapped to his body. The other stuff is on field stuff in the heat of battle. I wouldn't call the Aussie cricket team gentlemen, but using them to represent all Australians is quite disgusting.
