Later on I ran into Elliott Easton in Creedence Clearwater Revisited.  Two original members. They really did the songs proud and he was a big reason why.

Leanni, I also grew up in 80's. I think the reason you missed him is: Most of Ben's lead songs were pre-Mtv. Other than "Drive" the Cars videos usually starred models, characters & Ric O. in front. When cable came to our neighborhood in 86. I discovered the beautiful Ben in the "Stay the Night" & "Too Hot to stop" videos. I'm just discovering all of these old performances videos myself. If mtv started sooner, or youtube was around back then, imagine how big a star Ben could have become
