All white tigers, snow white or not, are all inbred and from a double recessive gene. There is absolutely no such thing as a wild "snow white" tiger. The only subspecies of tigers that has the white gene is the Bengal. They do not live near snow, so the coloring is disadvantageous. Many people believe Siberians can be "snow white", but they possess no such gene.

VERY true. White tigers should NEVER be bred.
And this video is incorrect. They are not "snow tigers", there is no such thing! Every white tiger in captivity is actually a hybrid between a Bengal and Siberian.
Sadly, Siegfried and Roy would never tell the public about the cruelties of white tiger breeding, because they use white tigers for money! And that´s the most important thing for them, otherwise, those cubs would never have been picked up just to be shown to the camera... they would have

I wish Siegfried and Roy would tell the truth about these animals and their existence!! They are created by related animals being forced to breed....mother to son, father to daughter or brother to sister.
75 - 80% of ALL white tiger cubs born are severly deformed or retarded...I wonder why Siegfried and Roy never tell the public that?
Also, the white tiger is not a separate species of tiger...white tigers are Bengal or Siberian tigers that have been severely inbreed.

Yeah! Let's kill all the white tigers! They're freaks and don't deserve life! -___- Okay, seriously? Did you know blue eyes are a recessive mutation as well? Maybe we should stop letting people with blue eyes reproduce as well.
Roy is a good man and he obviously cares about the cats. He nearly died and his first comment was, "Don't shoot the cat". How many people do you know would put the cat's life first after coming out of a black out?

it's not just man
since white tigers stand out so much it's really hard for them to be able to get food.
it's probaly better for them in captivity
