One of the most inspired peices of music ever written. Indescribibly brilliant. From the opening chords which just paint hot english countryside to the fluttering violin lines and the soaring climaxes...Ralph Vaughan Williams, I bow down to you!

my most favourite piece of music - i can listen to this any time of the day, takes me to a better place and puts me at peace with the world.

When my father passed away we played this at his funeral, as it was his favourite piece of music. like a Lark Ascending his spirit flies free, no longer suffering or in pain.

Absolutely brilliant..I like to hear this piece mostly in winter months to remind me of the coming warmer months..it kicks those winter blues into touch every time!! Thanks for sharing this with us...
