i guess ur right allahua3lam
but still people are not perfect even scholars make mistakes some intentional some accidental isnt that why we have so many different sects of islam all having their own type of hadith that they follow but what do we have in common... the quran and that will never change because u cant be a muslim if u disagree with the quran. so why dont we all look at what we have in common and come to terms using the quran instead of dividing ourselves more and more

@ali921812 Bro Allah says in the Quran in surah al imran
" if you love Allah then love his messenger.."
In another surah "... he is the best example in character..."
another surah's Allah urges the believers to follow his way and the way of the Messengers.
The Quran is a book of guidence not of law or history. The Messenger was given this task of teaching the people the RITUALS of islam. This is where Hadith comes in. To Learn the Manners and ways of the prophet
Allah knows best.

its not that i hold a completly different opinion im just not too confident in learning about hadith when it was never mentioned for the prophet to make them nor was it instructed in the quran to follow any other scripture other than the quran "today i have completed ur religion for u"
if its not 100 percent fool proof than should we not just trust god to give us the hidaya that we ask him for everyday idk
im probly not making any semse
indeed allahua3lam

@ali921812 bro as i said thats why there are "sound" narrarations and "good" ones and "curropted" ones.
Hadith is a complex science studied by the scholars of islam. Imam Bukhari did a tremenendous job.
The Religion is of Allah IS protected through the Quran and Hadith. Allah gave the scholars and the companions this blessing and allowed the flourishing of this VERY COMPLEX and neck breaking hard science to develop so we can follow the prophet (saw).
If you hold another opinion then allahalam

@ali921812 and human science is all about theory never one hundred percent true it can always be changed science is not what i would want my belief system to be based on especially human made
arabs are known for their memory but do they have perfect memory
no one has perfect memory and you know that
the religion of allah should be protected by allah not by a hadith scholar whos job it is to weed out the polluted hadiths to the good ones
u see shia salafi suffi sunni and where do we depart hadith
-
ok now is a hadith scholar 100 percent good at his job of differentiating sound narration and polluted and if not then thats a big problem wouldnt u think
if one polluted hadith is not found then it enters the basket with all the other good hadiths and we eat from it
cheesy metaphor but u see my point
-
@ali921812 As i said thats why there is a specific and critical SCIENCE dedicated to this exact question. The Arabs are known for their memory and its historically documented that the prophets companions were so loyal to him that they would die for him at a heart beat. Thus after he died they wrote down and even memorized these said sayings and passed them onto the next generation.
The Eadith Scholars job is to differ between a sound good narration or a polluted one you see.

@muslimgiga yes but they were written 200 years after the prophet meaning before that they were passed verbally and god knows how much changes they could have gone through
-
@ali921812 The Hadith are not produced 200 years after the prophet. They are traditions meaning ORAL traditions of the companions who saw the prophet do certain things etc. These oral traditions(well obviously people can falsify them) go through a RIGOROUS science known as science of hadith to get the ones that are strong vs weak. Once, Imam Bukhari traveled to russia to seek 1 hadith. He saw the guy kicking his horse then left because he could not be a reliable source(no character).

Mashallah akhi , nice Khutbah
I have a question/s
why are we muslims so believing in the hadiths when they were only produced after the death of the prophet
200 years or so
i mean can they not be falsified are they that protected from human corruption
this is why i believe in the quran more then I believe in the hadiths the six articles of belief do not include the hadiths do they?
please respond
BTW: I'm not anti hadith although it may appear so.
I'm just skeptical and maybe even ignorant

Allah (swt) revealed the Quran & the explanation of it. HQ 4:113
Additionally Allah (swt) has vowed to protect wat He (swt) revealed. HQ 15:9
Hadith r as Quran n that they wer collected as soft copies (memorized) & hard copied (written).
This WAS don during the time of Muhammad (saw) as wel as today. I would q? how a person culd accept the ayat of Quran that is revealed at a time but then deny the hadith stated right after explaining it???
Ahadith hav levels. Perhaps this is wer u go wrong.
