Intrauterine insemination (IUI) at Southeastern Fertility Center in Charleston, South Carolina, is a simple procedure that dramatically increases a couple's chance of conceiving. First, the woman is given medication that causes her body to release several eggs. Then, during the actual IUI procedure, sperm is placed directly into the uterine cavity, where it can fertilize the egg as in a natural conception. This process delivers a four-fold increase in the couple's chance of conception in that cycle.

We just did IUI yesterday. We are only 26 and have been trying for four years to have a child, and are hoping and praying we get a positive test in two weeks. This video gives me hope. Thankyou for sharing.

if u consider that most people doing iui's already have infertility problems, doing a iui usually only allows them the same chance as a normal couple would getting pregnant.

Flawed logic:
"Doing x doubles your chances over doing nothing"
"Doing y also doubles your chances over doing nothing"
"Therefore, doing both quadruples your chances over doing nothing"
Actually, it would probably triple, not quadruple, because doing y is only going to increase your chances a certain amount over the already increased chances you have from x.
