I know, i meant he could use a uvb lamp and a regular spot.. which is much cheaper, considering the uvb is pretty expensive already.

false turtles need UVB and HEAT LAMPS!

well you could use a regular 'spot' lamp it's like 3 bucks. Heat lamps are only useful with desert reptiles, they can even harm your turtle.

Depends! if there RES turtles and u Have a Baskin spot you will Need one! But if you Have a Desk Lamp you Can Make it a Heat Lamp Just Get a Heat Lamp Bulb at Petco or Petsmart there about 15-20 Dolars!! thou!
