@PurpleDino1995 no where near in my opinion bullet are also a band that got me into metal bfmv sound pretty generic to me now but bullet helped me and a lot of my mates get into metal bvb are just uninspiring generic shite and have no purpose whether you like it or not bfmv have done a lot for metalcore and can produce half decent music but at the end of the day music is music and people are shitting themselves that i dont like this band or that band wow who cares get over it

Listened to a bit of BvB's new album and I'm torn. The guitar riffs are pretty catchy and might make for a good Metalcore album, but my problem is that the whole album is so radio friendly. I don't listen to metal for something safe -- I want the band to take risks and they took absolutely none on this album. I didn't even hear any screaming. They should get a new guitarist because he is being dragged down by the rest of the band IMO.

Oh, and Lulu sucks SO BAD.

It's good to know I'm not the only person who started listening to Metal with Bullet For My Valentine. Now I'm at Cannibal Corpse and Aborted so I have to give credit to Bullet For My Valentine. I wasn't stunned with Fever but I thought it was alright.
